What are typical design and installation rates?

Based on industry analysis, basic rate schedules are as follows:

DESIGN

Sign, business card, letterhead design--$85 per hour
Logo, complex sign, brochure, vehicle wrap design--$110 per hour

INSTALLATION

One person, no ladder, no electric--$85 per hour plus travel
Installation: Two people, no ladder, no electric--$112.50 per hour plus travel
One person, ladder/bucket truck and electric--$140 per hour plus travel
Two people, ladder/bucket truck and electric--$220 per hour plus travel

SITE CHECK and PERMITTING

Site check--$250 per hour plus travel
Permit acquisition--$50 plus travel and permit cost
