Rich Cruz, Owner

"He's going to be an artist," is what they've always said about Rich Cruz. In grade school and high school he was the resident artist/cartoonist. Working his way through college as a silk screen/pre-press/production artist in the trade show industry, signs became a love interest for Rich.

During his career, he has worked across several different industries including: big box retail operations management, multi-national marketing for a major publishing company, and serving on various non-profit boards and committees. In each position, Rich has always felt that the best marketing solution is signs and banners... After all, if they can't see you, they can't work with you.

Rich received his MBA from Capella University where he concentrated in marketing and management. He also received a BA in Visual Art and Design from The University of Chicago. Moreover, Rich is an alumnus of St. Rita High School in his home town of Chicago.

Rich performs as a semi-professional percussionist and drum circle facilitator in the Chicago area. He also serves small Chicagoland businesses as a business consultant and business planner through his consulting firm, Keep the Beat, Inc.

He is married to Lisa Banos-Cruz, co-owner of Behold! Signs, and they have 3 children. His hobbies are Tai Chi Chuan, keeping a tropical fish aquarium, and caring for the family dog, Kokopelli, and gecko, Yoda.
